Christmas Boxes

I like making different things for Christmas.  The DSP from the catalogue makes this easy.  You can put a gift card and chocolates into these little boxes.  I wanted to make some that would be ok for a guy.

Merry Patterns

Just experimenting with Merry Patterns!  I love this set because you stamp the outline and then fill it in with a second stamp.  This is the last few days you can get this stamp for free with a qualifying order.

Christmas Goodie Purse

Well, I tried my first Facebook live today and posted a video on how to make these little Christmas purses.  This is a great way to use up old or retired DSP and you can put a lot of different treats in here.  Head to my Facebook page Shanda’s Stamping Spot to see the video.

Merry Patterns

Good thing I have a techie daughter to figure out this new blog.   I think this card is too busy but I am still experimenting with this set.

Merry Patterns

This is a lovely set which you can get with a qualifying order easiest done by having a workshop with friends.  This is my first card with this set and I am trying to make more simple cards.

Blend Markers

I am loving these markers.  I ordered the kit of cards that will be available as well on November 1 and it really is lively.

Therapy Kit

As a demonstrator we get to order things ahead of when they are released.  I took my little colouring kit to our thrift store and experimented with various colours.  My favourite colour was the Rich Raspberry.  Which one do you like?

Christmas PaperPumpkin

I found it so easy to put these cards together from the kit.  I do think the one on the left needs a little something but will work on that for next time!

Christmas PaperPumkinkit

I love opening my front door and finding these cute little kits outside.  I thought I would post a picture of everything you get inside.  Everything is included as you can see!  I sometimes do a little extra with what I have but you don't really need to.  I love the matching envelopes too!

Musical Christmas

I am working on a Christmas class and was going to enter a challenge but was too late but like this card.  I stamped the bells with Bersemark making this card quite easy to make!

Bethlehem Thinlits

I loved this set of thinlits the minute I saw them in the catalogue.   I liked this idea from Cynthia Milan because it is simple and I have trouble doing simple cards.

Holly Experiments

I brought my Good Tidings stamp set with me to Saskatewan as I thought my friend might like to try it.  I liked it in Tranquil Tide and she liked it in Garden Green.  I haven't glued it together because I thought I might add some ribbon    I added a little piece I cut out on top of the Tranquil Tide and I liked that too!  Which colour do you like best?

Country Livin

I have been been wanting to try this technique for ages so my friend Shirley wanted to too so we visited Ann Craig's blog and she gave great instructions how to sponge colour on your embossing folder and then stamp the truck right onto the embossing folder and voila   It looks like it is sitting behind the trees.  We found the Black Archival ink worked the best to get a stronger image of the truck.

Crafting Friends

I am in Saskatchewan for Thanksgiving and my friend and I have been working on this design for a couple of hours.  Some days a card comes right together and other days it is like pulling teeth.  We were happy in the end.
